The trial with Telia is part of the PNK innovation project, which aims to test, document and evaluate the feasibility and suitability of using the mobile network to position - navigate - communicate with unmanned aerial vehicles out of sight of the operator but under supervision, safely and in compliance with laws and regulations.
Through the partnership, Telia intends to explore solutions for several different UAV services, such as emergency services, mapping, inspection, surveillance and aerial delivery.
