Sustainability

Copture AB strives to conduct its business in accordance with applicable principles for sustainable development. This includes actively working to identify, evaluate and minimize negative environmental impact from the company's operational, technical and administrative processes.

Our business model is based on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and digital remote sensing, resulting in significantly lower resource consumption and impact compared to traditional working methods in forestry, infrastructure inspection and other relevant areas. Replacing e.g. helicopter-borne inspections, ground-based field visits with all-terrain vehicles and other emission-intensive operations with automated and remotely controlled data collection reduces carbon emissions, noise impacts and physical impacts on the natural environment.

Copture uses electric drones and processes that enable digital delivery of all collected data. This contributes to reduced use of fossil fuels, reduced need for printed material, and reduces the need for transportation and manual actions. This makes a clear contribution to reducing the climate impact of each individual mission.

In addition to the environmental aspect of sustainability, social and occupational sustainability is also a priority area within the business. All drone pilots and field resources are trained in the company's internal HSE (health, safety and environment) guidelines, which include safety assessments, risk management, responsible behavior in the natural environment and preventive measures to avoid damage or impact on people, animals or property.

Copture conducts regular reviews of its working methods and technical solutions to ensure that its operations are continuously adapted to current environmental requirements, industry standards and technological developments. The company's ambition is for sustainability issues to be integrated into daily operational decision-making, rather than isolated to individual projects or documents.

We also work in dialogue with our clients to enable solutions that both meet their information needs and help meet their internal or external sustainability objectives. This may include, for example, delivery formats that are compatible with digital management systems, methods to minimize impacts in sensitive areas, and reporting according to requested standards or policy requirements.

Copture complies with applicable national environmental legislation and relevant EU directives and follows the development of best practice in the industry. The overall objective is to operate in line with the UN definition of sustainable development: meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
